Belle Starr's life
1866: In 1866 Belle Starr met Cole Younger, member of the James-Younger Gang, and is to of thought that Cole Younger was the father to her first child Pearl. Yet later on during this year she married Jim Reed.
1869: In 1869 Belle Starr became Jim Reed's partner in crime; steeling cattle, horses, and money in the proximity of Dallas. This is where she began her trend of the "Bandit Queen". Playing up her role by wearing velvet skirts and plumed hats.
1874: In 1874 Jim Reed was killed by a member of his own gang. Once Belle realized this she fled to Oklahoma leading her own gang and meeting Sam Starr. Here she married him, a member of the Cherokee tribe, and she had a criminal partner once again.
1883: After years of escaping the law, Belle Starr and Sam Starr were finally caught in 1883 for horse theft. After being caught they both five months in the Detroit Federal Prison. Being thrown in prison didn't stop the Starr's criminal activity though.
1886: Once continuing their life of criminal activity, Belle Starr lost yet another husband to gun fire in 1886. Sam Starr was shot down while in a gun shoot out with an old enemy.
1889: Belle Starr quickly found another husband, Jim July, who was 15 years younger than her part of the Cherokee tribe. Once again her husband was caught for robbery and was sent to Fort Smith, Arkansas. Beginning the journey with him, Belle Starr turned around after awhile to go back home, this is where she faced her fatal death with two shotgun blasts to the back.
