Outlaws: Many women became outlaws in the West by becoming heavy drinkers, carrying around guns, and bragging about their ruthless behavior. These women, many times, were more furious and outrageous than the men in the Wild West.
Hunters/Gun Crafty: Women in the West began to experiment with guns. Many, like Annie Oakley, became gun experts and had amazing aim. Some used their aim for good, and made their way in the world, changing the perspective of women forever.
Rustlers: Women rustlers of the West used that as their job. Belle Starr was a famous cattle rustler, this was a way of life during the migration west and caused many out bursts of violence. Any cattle rustler, including women cattle rustlers, were not meant to be dealt with. They were stealthy with their guns and turned it into an art.
Frontiers Women: Along with outlaws, rustlers, and hunters there were many frontier women. Frontier women made life in the west possible. They were hard workers and persevered through the hardest times of their lives. As frontier women one would have to take care of the children, cook every dinner, help farm and sow the land, clean the home, build the home, and make life easier for every member of the family.

Sacagawea: Sacagawea was a lead women role in the first migration West. She helped and led Lewis and Clark to uncharted lands, while carrying a baby and surviving the whole time. Without Sacagawea Lewis and Clark may of never survived the journey, let alone record all the information that allowed the population to migrate West.
